James “Andy” Moore, CPO/L, MPO
President​
​Andy Moore is a Certified, Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist working in the Kenney Orthopedics Lexington market. Andy Moore received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina and received his post graduate certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has worked in the O&P field since 2015 when he joined the Kenney Orthopedics family.

​When Andy is not working with patients you can find him spending time with his wife, 2 boys, and golden doodle. He loves playing golf and is an avid supporter of South Carolina Gamecocks Athletics.

Danielle Sakai
Treasurer

Danielle serves as the Practice Manager at Louisville Prosthetics, where she combines a strong accounting background with a practical, solutions-driven approach to practice operations. She is deeply committed to patient advocacy and plays an active role in ensuring patients feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their care journey. Known for her ability to identify and remove barriers to care, Danielle continually champions process improvements that enhance access, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
Beyond her work within the practice, Danielle is actively engaged in legislative and policy advocacy efforts focused on improving access to prosthetic care. She has collaborated with healthcare professionals, legislators, and patient advocates to advance reforms that remove obstacles to treatment and improve quality of life for individuals living with limb loss and limb difference. Her passion for patient-centered advocacy and commitment to meaningful healthcare reform closely align with KOPA’s mission to promote access, education, and empowerment for the limb loss community.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys cooking and exploring Louisville and neighboring cities in search of the best restaurants and local culinary experiences- always ordering dessert first.

Aaron Greene, MPO, CPO
Immediate Past President

Aaron s a Certified, Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist working for Hanger Clinic in Eastern KY. Aaron Greene received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville and received his post graduate certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has worked in the O&P field since 2019. Aaron Greene helped KOPA with the So EveryBody Can Move initiative during his time on the KOPA Board and continues to assist with ongoing KY initiatives in the field.

Rachael Jannette, CPO/L
Vice President

Rachael is an ABC-certified and state licensed prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Lexington, Kentucky.As a clinician, Rachael is active in clinical care for prosthetics and orthotics for patients of all ages. She has a passion for, and desire to work towards, specializing in cranial remolding orthoses for infants with cranial asymmetries. When she’s not busy with clinical care, Rachael is advocating for her patients by joining the Kentucky Orthotics and Prosthetics Association to work on initiatives like the So Every Body Can Move campaign. Additionally, Rachael volunteers her time helping to tutor current residents to become successful in completing their board exams.Outside of work, Rachael enjoys trying new restaurants around town, playing board games with friends, baking, and having a quite evening at home with her soon-to-be husband and two cats.

Kristy L. Young, MS, CHES
Secretary

Kristy Young is a seasoned professional with a background rooted in government relations and grassroots advocacy within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Kenney Orthopedics, a Hanger Clinic Company, Kristy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role.
With a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Kentucky, Kristy has honed her skills in understanding human movement and public health. Throughout her career, Kristy has demonstrated a remarkable ability to foster meaningful relationships, navigate complex regulatory landscapes, and drive strategic initiatives forward.
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Kristy has a strong connection to her community and a deep-seated commitment to making a positive impact. Her career trajectory has been marked by a dedication to advocating for individuals' health and well-being, both through her work in government relations and now in the business development realm.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Kristy remains actively engaged in her community, volunteering her time and expertise to various causes and organizations.
